A story of bonds spun by Japan's poor parents and their children Episode 5~Time, effort, and money~

This is the true story of one man's past and the family that weaves through it.

Taking the Tokyo University entrance exam without cram school! Child-rearing experiences of a family at the bottom of the pyramid

Time, effort, and money

two alternatives

I've never studied anything and don't know how to lay down or ride the rails of education.

They can't go to tutoring school because they don't have the money to pay for the essentials even if they want to rely on the school.

Realistically, money would not allow them to attend a private school, so they would have to go on to a public school.

Then I can manage to understand that I have to acquire even higher academic skills to get to ......, but I don't know exactly how to do it.

Yes, how can we raise them in the future?
How can we approach the ideal image that we are aiming for?

I don't see the right answer to that question at all.

I guess I'm being naive in my resolve.

I guess I'm still trying to use [the tool of money] and in my head, I'm begging someone to teach me how to use it.

There is no way that this would allow them to choose all the public universities in the country.

I am deeply disgusted with my own stupidity.

If you want money, you have to work in exchange for time with your children, and if you want time, you have to do something about it yourself.

Think about what you can do! And my head is spinning.

Hm ...... wait! There are only two choices: pay someone else to do it or do it yourself, right?

If you think about it, most of the work that you are paid to do can be done if you want to do it, because you just don't have the knowledge to do it.

For example, if you were to replace the battery in your car, you would follow these steps.

・Check the car battery.

・Find out which stores sell batteries at the lowest possible price and buy them.

・Remove the old battery

・Install a new battery

・Dispose of old batteries

So, roughly, this is what we do.

If it is too much trouble to do it yourself, or you can't (or don't want to), you will have to pay someone who can replace it, and if you leave it alone, the battery will run out of life and the car will stop running.

A tool called money

The labor for this tedious task costs money and incurs a labor charge.

Business is a solution to time and effort using the tool of money.

But hey, wouldn't it be safer to leave it to the professionals?"

You might think so.

But even amateurs can do some things.

But when it comes to replacing the brakes on a car, it would be impossible for an amateur.

Even if you know how to do it, it is dangerous for people without specialized tools or skills to replace them carelessly.

In the worst case, the brakes may not work and even cause an accident, which could be fatal.

There is added responsibility there, so of course it is better to ask a specialist.

Early on, there are some things you can do yourself, but some people don't even try to look into it and ask someone else to do it because they are too lazy to do it.

There is a demand for it there, so it is a [job], but if it is not a highly specialized type of work, there is a good chance you can do it yourself.

Once the knowledge and the desire to be troublesome are cleared, most things can be done.

No, I have no desire to be a pain in the ass in raising children, but the problem is knowledge.

I was running away from the exam war.

No, I didn't even know that.

To live in the future, we want to acquire not only the necessary knowledge, but also the ability to think, be creative, and acquire a variety of other abilities.

No matter what the era, studying is absolutely necessary to hone skills that will be useful in the future, so it is always best to study as much as possible.

An attitude of continuous learning, not makeshift study, is the most essential thing in life.

As you learn and understand what you do not know, you will further broaden your horizons, and your life will be enriched by repeating this process.

Then, adapting to society and living freely leads to happiness.

Let's aim for this ideal figure.

We have to imagine clearly and walk steadily.

Let's walk together, hand in hand, along the endless "dirt road" that goes on forever.
